Suggest putting the parts in warm, sudsy water for minutes before washing, clean with a soft brush. If the carrot stains the white housing, wipe it with cooking oil. After wiping clean, rinse with water. Note: 1/This item fits for KitchenAid stand mixers, yet not created by Kitchen-Aid. 2/For a better performance: highly recommend using Speed Setting 6 or 8 and push the food slowly and not too hard. 3/Sticking the cheese in the freezer for about 10 minutes when grating softer cheese before shredding. 4/The Food Pusher is already installed in the housing, please pull it out before using it.
