To use a filter or drip method, measure 1 tablespoon per 6 ounces (3/4 cup) of water. Adjust the amount of coffee to suit your taste. With a standard espresso machine, use manufacturer's directions for coffee amount. When using a three-part moka espresso maker, fill up the middle metal filter with coffee. Add water to bottom portion of the maker and follow the manufacturer's directions. With all methods, always use cold water and a clean coffee maker. Never allow coffee to boil.
