Supplied with ultra-strong elasticated rope to loop around the front wheel and bike frame to prevent front wheel knocking against a wall. IMPORTANT: Please measure your potential bike storage set-up prior to purchase to ensure you have enough space and the style of storage set-up is compatible with your needs. Highly adjustable arms and hanger beam allow for different bike frame geometry, bike sizes and handlebar widths (up to 31 inches / 78 cm) so a bike can be stored and displayed in a horizontal position for convenient and safe storage. IMPORTANT: ONLY install bike wall hanger on a solid stud, beam, masonry or concrete wall. DO NOT install the hanger on ‘unsupported’ wall surfaces e.g. plasterboard wall, UNLESS there is a strong ‘wooden’ stud behind it. Hanger is compatible with standard US ‘2 x 4’ (or '2 x '6) wooden stud (1.5” wide x 3.5” deep). Depending on your specific stud wall set-up, a wooden mounting board might be required for extra support (extra mounting board not included). Mounting board should be installed first onto plasterboard wall and then the hanger onto the mounting board.
