Before and After Wet Look Pavers Before and After Wet Look Pavers Before and After Wet Look Concrete Before and After Wet Look Brick The Armor WL550 is a penetrating, matte wet look water repellent sealer. It penetrates deep into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores that reduces surface water absorption by up to 95%. It will darken the surface to slightly enhance any dull and faded coloring. The Armor WL550 is made from high quality, non-recycled, US manufactured resins. It is designed for unsealed concrete, brick, pavers, natural stone, and porous masonry. It works entirely below the surface and won’t leave a surface film. By reducing surface water absorption, cracking, spalling, pitting, some surface growth, staining, and other damage caused by surface water absorption will also be reduced. It will not leave a visible surface film. It is designed to slightly darken the surface in order to provide a matte wet look. For a more dramatic color enhancement, or to achieve a low gloss or high gloss finish, consider instead the Armor AR350 for a low gloss wet look, or the Armor AR500 for a high gloss wet look. Color enhancement will vary depending on several factors including surface porosity. We suggest applying a sample of the Armor WL550 first to verify you are able to achieve the desired look. Product Life When properly applied, the ArmorWL550 can provide up to 3-5 years of life on an exterior surface before the need to recoat. Will the Armor WL550 leave behind a surface film? No, the Armor WL550 will not leave behind a surface film, or gloss. It is designed to work entirely below the surface. For a low gloss, consider the Armor AR350 and for a high gloss, consider the Armor AR500. How long with the Armor WL550 last? The Armor WL550 can last up to 3-5 years before the need for a re-coat. Some applications will require an earlier reseal, and some later. Actual life will depend entirely on the porosity of the surface, the amount of material applied, and how hard the sealer needs to work. Is the Armor WL550 breathable? Yes, it is. Is the Armor WL550 UV stable? Yes, it is. The Armor WL550 works entirely below the surface. There is no surface coating to maintain.
