Founded right in the heart of the Garment District in New York City, they first sold door-to-door to local surfers, mom and pop surf shops, and a few gift stores at local beaches. A few good years of making waves, always focusing on quality and value, and Kanu managed to land on the racks of department stores, sport shops and anywhere swimwear is sold – nationwide. Recently, Kanu Surf has successfully partnered with Amazon as its top online distributor of its complete line of swim trunks and swimwear.
